Nice consistency and softness. Really good seasonal fall flavors (pumpkin pie, apple pie, and peppermint stick). A bit pricey so almost knocked down to 4 stars but really enjoyed it and the small was decently sized. Will come back for an occasional treat.

Best place around for homemade ice cream no one can compete with them. Clean establishment. Polite employees. And amazing ice cream! Does tend to get a bit crowded at times though.

My girlfriend and I went to grab a sundae to-go and Jordie dropped the sundae lid on the ground and it rolled between two ice cream chest freezers. He picked it up and placed it on his counter top where food product is sitting. I asked him politely for for a new lid, because the current lid fell on the floor, to which Joride rolled his eyes at me and scoffed. He asked me "how do you know I was going to use it and not throw it away". Because you put the floor lid on the counter with food products.I let him know that he'd contaminated his counter space by putting floor trash on it, and asked when the last time he took a ServeSafe.Jordie needs to focus on his job instead of flirting with the girls behind the counter. He also needs ServeSafe training.

For the very first time in years that I haven't been to this place, I guess it was nice to go there, I got a ginger and coconut ice cream with 3 toppings: caramel fudge, m&ms and almonds, 😋 😋 very relaxing if you go sit at the back before they close, I enjoyed 👍

Excellent ice cream! There is a party room in the back which serves as extra seating. The cakes in the fridge looked unbelievable.

Went here for a couple of scoops of ice cream. Helpful staff but the ice cream was nothing special. Mocha almond lacked any mocha flavor, but the almonds were okay. Caramel salted pretzel ice cream had stale pretzel pieces that threw off the texture of the ice cream.

Great little ice cream shop. A lot more variety than I had expected walking in. There's also cake and some baked goods. Some soup/salad lunch options. Everything was delicious!

This place is usually very busy to the point where I have seen lines go out the door. But the ice cream is great and there is a good selection to choose from.

Lizzys is usually pretty good, but the past few months it hasn’t lived up to its old self. I asked for a kiddie cup and they gave me a large cone. I asked for a new one and she said she was sorry, but didn’t redo my ice cream. The ice cream ended up tipping out of the cone since she didn’t do a good job. My ice cream had no flavor, and it was disappointing

Perfect local ice cream parlor with fantastic flavors

Very nice place. There is extra seating in a separate room. The owner is nice enough to let us use it as a ukulele meeting place so we play music here every other Monday. The ice cream is delicious and they always give you a good bit. Their small is actually still quite large. It's a nice place to sit and chat and have an ice cream or some tea with someone.

Really yummy ice cream but really expensive for what it is I asked for a Sunday medium (2 flavors) plus a medium steamed milk drink and it came out with a 15% yip to be 19.20. At Jordan's furniture you can get a whole banana split for just 7 bucks and it is huge with three flavors. Also the staff did not understand what I was asking for and were not clear. Took way too long to order. But the ice cream was yummy and they did have lots of chocolate sauce like overflowing

Great homemade ice cream! This place has lots of great flavors and their portion sizes are pretty large. I personally love the salted caramel pretzel and the chocolate cookie dough. They also have sundaes and flavor samplers, as well as coffees, teas, and some food. Their staff is super nice, and there's plenty of tables inside to sit at or to hangout while eating your ice cream. Overall, this is a great place to come after dinner right on Moody Street.

Homey spot for ice cream, baked goods, sundaes, & floats. Interesting flavors (mocha lace) a huge draw. As is old-fashioned soda-shop vibe. Great place for kids & adults. Plenty of seating. Great.

Must try if you are in Waltham. Charles River Crunch is my favourite as it has Almond Toffee in it. Deliciously engaging....

I haven’t been here in 15 years was just one block down recently to get my fingerprints done. Stopped in for ice cream dinner!If I was local I would not get the Charles River Flavor - as I got one teeny toffee. The Cinnamon Flavor brought me back. And lots of walnuts made up for no toffees!Love Lizzy’s And will visit again someday!

Taro cake and coconut ice cream. Friendly staff. Very large seating area.

I bought a stock cake on a Wednesday and requested it be ready Friday at 1pm with the word "congrats". But Friday at 2pm cake was not ready and lettering was done while I waited (looks rushed). Also I was told lettering had to be a single color. Everyone thought it was tasty.

Their ice cream are just so good to worth a 30 mins drive. Rich flavor in mint oreo and banana I had yesterday. Wet toppings are also awesome.

Lizzy's has fabulous ice cream. It is open until 11:30pm on the weekends so it's a great after dinner spot. Unfortunately, they were out of coffee while we were there (9:30pm), but we substituted with tea and hot chocolate which worked out well too!

Amazing vanilla ice cream. No soft serve machines apparently. Staff could have been friendlier but we're operating under a pandemic so everyone was a little stressed. Looks like a nice place to sitdown when it's allowed.

My favorite ice cream place and dessert place hands down!! Everything from the friendliness of the staff, to the cool homely atmosphere, to the amazing flavor of their desserts is just wonderful beyond words!

Glass dishes, metal spoons, and free ice water in real glasses may not matter much to some, but after eating ice cream all day out of disposable bowls with sometimes serrated plastic spoons, Lizzy's was a very welcomed stop. A more refined ice cream shop of yore, this Waltham institution produces blue-ribbon ice cream in all the usual flavors, including a few surprises, like Cantaloupe or Charles River Crunch. Lizzy's also boasts a take-out shop in Harvard Square.
